Zide is now in public beta.
We built Zide around a simple idea: modern software development requires more than an editor with an AI chat box.
The work around the code still happens across issues, terminals, Git, branches, worktrees, diffs, pull requests, CI runs, model choices, and multiple projects. Each time that work moves between disconnected applications, developers have to rebuild part of the context.
Zide brings more of that workflow into one native desktop workspace.
With Zide, developers can move from an issue to implementation, review proposed changes as diffs, manage Git, open a pull request, and follow CI without losing sight of the surrounding project.
Zide Assist works directly with projects, files, Git, and terminals. It is designed for repository-level tasks such as multi-file changes, dependency upgrades, refactoring, and bug fixes, not only generating the next line of code.
Developers also retain model choice. Zide works across supported AI providers, including Claude, Codex, and Gemini, with options for bring-your-own API keys, included credits, eligible model subscriptions, and compatible local models.
Zide supports GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket and is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
Public beta means we are still building. Feedback from early users will help determine what comes next.
